Simon Goodall

Having studied vocals at Leeds College of Music, Simon began to pursue his career in the music business on a professional level as a singer/songwritter. Simon recorded his debut album "Generous Love", which was released independently in 1995. Following the success of his debut album, he was signed to the 'Gospel label' for a further three albums.

In 2003, Sir Cliff Richard was approached to sing the title track of a forthcoming Christmas Animation, "It's a boy". Simon had the privilege of co-writing the song, and producing the track. The success of this recording meant that EMI chose this song as an exclusive track to go on Cliff's Christmas single "Santa's list", which reached number 5 In the UK Singles Chart. One of Simons highlights of his career came in July 2010 whem he got to share the stage with Sir Cliff when they duetted on the song “Miss you Nights” at the Dorchester Hotel in London.

As an established Studio Session Vocalist, Simon has also contributed to well over 300 albums between 1995 and 2005, many of which, where he was a featured lead vocalist.

Since 2016 Simon has been taking music into peoples front rooms with the concept 'Live in your front room'. Since starting this venture Simon has performed to 100's audiences all over Europe, America, Australia & New Zealand. Simon has also been performing his own Live-streams called  'Live@5' to an online audience.

Currently Simon is writing new songs & recording vocals for clients remotely. Most recent he was invited to be filmed Recording The Cliff Richard Songbook at Pinewood Studios, also Sir Cliff Richard filmed a special video message which was included in the broadcast. As a seasoned performer Simon is still very much proactive in the industry and is regularly booked up many months in advance.

Having previously conducted vocal workshops & taught in schools, as well as producing vocals (one on one) in a recording studio setting, Simon has gained lots of experience of working with people of varying abilities. He has the patience and understanding to motivate and instill confidence to become a better singer and performer. Simons passion is all about singing and nothing gives him greater pleasure than to see people develop into confident and capable singers.

Simon has a pro-active approach to teaching. He always wants to make learning fun, in a relaxed environment, whereby individual talent can flourish. However Simon is a great believer in the old saying that practise makes perfect, and if you put the effort in, anyone can advance their vocal abilities. Simons personal knowledge of the music industry is second to none, and with this knowledge combined with passion and hard work, he hopes to inspire the next gereration of British musicians.
