Patryk Frac
Patryk Frac was born on the 13th of December 1997 in Bochnia, Poland. He began his pianistic training in 2004, in the First Stage National School of Music in Bochnia. After completing it in June 2010 with distinction his family moved to Nottingham, UK. Soon after he was awarded with a place in the PianoMan scholarship scheme sponsored by Sir and Lady McGraths, both entrepreneurs and philanthropists. Patryk started having lessons from London based international concert pianist Richard Meyrick, this brought Patryk many incredible opportunities, most importantly taking part in the residential courses organised by Richard, where he had a chance to play with respected musicians from all around the world. This also gave Patryk the opportunity to meet and take lessons from some of the best pianists in the country, Gabriele Baldocci and Maria Nemcova among others.
Patryk was also being regularly offered performance opportunities from the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham, notably the “Live at Lunch” concert series. Following a culmination of his time in PianoMan, Patryk made his orchestral debut in 2016, playing Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with Arch Sinfonia orchestra in the heart of London’s Banking. After PianoMan, Patryk began Bachelor studies at one of the UK’s and world’s leading conservatories - the Royal College of Music in London. In June 2022 Patryk completed his music education as a Beverley Creed Scholarship holder Masters student at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, studying for further two years with concert pianist Gabriele Baldocci. Currently, Patryk works as a performer and a piano and music theory teacher. In 2019 he created a piano-violin duet with Miguel Suay named “Duo Voyage”, which he actively promotes and composes music for. Aside of performing, Patryk has a huge interest in composition (which he studied for 2 years with Haris Kitos in RCM), organ music and jazz. In particular, the music of Nikolai Kapustin is something Patryk loves and specialises in, and is currently working towards recording his complete works.
In Summary Patryk is a highly acomplished pianist and music theorist, and possesses the skills to instil the excitement and enjoyment of learning piano in his students.
