Marika Tyyvi

Marika is a highly skilled Vocal teacher. She completed her bachelors degree in music at The Central Ostrobothnia University, Kokkola in Finland. She then attended The University of Oulu in Finland to gain her teaching qualifications.

For many years, Marika performed with the famous Scandanavian band "The Hillo", as the lead vocalist. With her performance skill being in great demand, Marika has also performed as a soloist and in groups all across Europe.

Marika is a professional performing singer, and in 2008 she appeared on Pop Idol, where she made it to the finals. She also appeared on the Voice in 2017.

In short, Marika is both a musician and a music teacher of the highest caliber. Marika believes that a relaxed, yet controlled approach to music training, leads to an enjoyable learning experience. She always aims to bring out the best in her students.
